Zimmerman Exteriors Inc is one of the few companies in the area to be certified to install all varieties of cedar shakes and shingles. Many companies may say they do quality work but we have the official stamp of approval behind us. We can install cedar that carries a warranty up to 50 years. With a new in 2011 limited lifetime warranty* for most applications, asphalt shingles have become the easy choice for the homeowner. When looking for a beautiful roof and low upfront and long term cost there really is no comparison. Based on our experience of over 25 years in the industry we suggest using Certainteed brand shingles but we will install the brand you choose. We have found Certainteed shingles to be the most consistent quality shingle in the last 5 years. This opinion could change and if it does we will also change. We are currently certified as a Master Shingle Applicator with Certainteed because we use so many of their shingles and you can only be certified with one asphalt shingle manufacturer according to their requirements. This does enable Zimmerman Exteriors to include an option for CertainTeed’s Sure Start Plus 50yr NON-Prorated warranty on labor and materials for your new roof. We also recycle your old roof when the plants are accepting product.

We install standing seam metal panels and for barns or out buildings we install corrugated metal panels also. We have a wide range of colors with most warranties being 40yrs on the coating of the panels.

(.060 EPDM)- Rubber roofs are your best choice for low slope roofing. When installed correctly they can last 20-30 years or more depending on the application. We see more installation mistakes in rubber roofing jobs when we are asked to look at a leak than any other type of roof system. We use manufacture specifications when installing your rubber roof. White rubber with ISO board can be an option if you want to keep a room cooler or you’d just simply want to see a white roof instead of a black one.
